Navigating the South Side 

Lifting As They Climbed: Mapping a History of BLack Women on Chicago's South Side is to be used to explore Chicago in all its magnificence and complexity. We hope that the explorations and adventures ignite your interest in more Black women's histories and community legacy.

The main tour for Lifting As They Climbed goes through multiple Chicago neighborhoods on the southside including  Kenwood, Bronzeville, Hyde Park, and Woodlawn.
